It's one of the most exciting and relaxing ways to spend summers in Montana. It is also a big hole in the water in which to throw money. It's boating season everyone!
Time to hit the water and ski, board, tube, fish and generally have a great time. But there are a few things that I wish I would have known back when I first bought a boat.
Setting Your Sights on the Water for Summer in Montana
Montana assuredly has an abundance of available waterways to launch your boat, no matter the size of your dingy. Whether the Missouri River, Holter Lake, Tiber Reservoir, Flathead or any of the others, you can find a place to float your boat.
But getting on the water is more than loading the cooler and tubes and hitting the throttle for the afternoon. There are a few things you should be aware of, especially if you are new to boating.
