All The Good Names Were Taken, So Montana Has 11 Of These Named The Same.
Square Butte. One of Central Montana's most recognizable landmarks. How could you miss it? I must have 200 pictures of Square Butte that I have taken while driving on I15. Sunrise, Sunset, rainstorms, lightning storms, or any ordinary day, I snap that pic while cruising 80mph.
I always knew that there are two Square Buttes. The one in Cascade County, and then the one in Choteau County. What I didn't realize was that there are actually 11 Square Buttes here in Montana. 11 Square Buttes! I couldn't find pictures of all of them online, but I do have the locations.
Maybe you knew this already and I am the last person to find out but here you go.... Montana's 11 Square Butte's.
