The Google.  For me, it is a true double-edged sword that can do amazing things, or it can make you incredibly paranoid about how much it really knows about you.  Either way you look at it, it is kind of a cruel necessity in today's world.  Need to know something?  You probably have Googled it already at some point to find out the specifics.  Car buying, weather reports, crazy stories, you name it, it's on the Google.

Putting Things in That Big Memory Bank in the Sky

Anytime you do a search for something using Google, that data will go into a huge bank in the sky for referral.  It will also leave a mark in your browser, hence why you will see ads or stories suddenly popping up in your news feeds related to your search.  Even cumulative searches are archived for future needs.  One of the cooler things about the tracking is being able to see exactly what everyone is searching for, including our entire state of Montana.

Do We Really Want to Leave, Or Are We Looking to Make Some Money?

The most searched word according to Google in Montana?  Apparently, we want to get out of the state, maybe.  Airbnb is the most popular search in all of 2022 for our state.  So, what does that mean?  Are we looking to leave the state?  Or are we looking for a way to make a buck in these times?  I am for the latter on this one.  What about you?  Are you looking for a way to make some money this tourist season?  Is an Airbnb the way to go about it?  Let us know in the comments, with our appchat feature or you can email us here.
