How to Nominate a Standout Student Athlete in Montana
Athletics are a Huge Part of Each and Every Town in Montana
Across Montana the school year is in full swing. That also means that all of the sports action across the state is going on as well.
Each week teams take to the floor or field to battle it out for school honor and prestige. Maybe even a way to pay for college for those that rise to the top of game. Or perhaps, as some have proven from Montana, a way to the pros.
The Montana High School Association Athlete of the Week
To bring to light those athletes that excel each week, the Montana High School Association has teamed with Montana Farmer's Union Insurance for the athlete of the week.

Those varsity athletes are chosen for exhibiting an outstanding performance during the previous week. Each athlete is also:
- In good academic standing
- Show leadership qualities
- Serve as a role model in their community
How to Nominate a Standout Student Athlete in Montana
One male and one female athlete are chosen each week via nominations on the MHSA website. The winners are then announced on the MHSA website and social media. Selected winners receive a letter of recognition and branded items.

If you know of an athlete that deserves recognition, you can nominate them here. The deadline for nominations each week is Wednesday with the MHSA.
