It was around this time in Great Falls, Montana nearly 75 years ago, that a few local racers started putting their heads and gears together for what would become the sport of stock car racing within the Electric City.

Throughout those seven decades, there have been drivers, pit crew and fans that have made the Electric City Speedway into what we see today.  To honor them, each year the racing Hall of Fame in the city announces new inductees that have made their mark on the sport.

Great Falls Racing HOF Group Helping Recognize Racers and Give Back to Kids

The Electric City Racing Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization in Great Falls whose mission is "dedicated to honoring members of our racing community each year for their contributions to the sport".

The organization also helps students in high school that are pursuing the trades industries after graduation.  The group offers scholarship opportunities for students that might not qualify through other traditional grants or scholarships for the trades industry.

Great Falls Racing HOF Announce 2026 Inductees Ahead of Season

During the annual kickoff car show for the Electric City Speedway 2026 season, the Hall of Fame announced several new inductees for the prestigious award.  This year's class includes:

  • Drivers:  Mick Miesmer, Jim Myre, Jack Norris
  • Honorable Mention:  Bill Spurlock
  • Support:  Kim Azure, Carl Halcro, Linda Birkowski, Matt Mann, Scott Carnahan, Steve Walker
  • Super Fan:  Judy Wagner

Inductees will be honored at the Electric City Speedway Hall of Fame Night, scheduled for July 18, 2026.  To see more about the event, you can check the ECS schedule here.
