The state of Montana is home to a bunch of unique things. Glacier, the Beartooth, the Bob, they all are special in their own way, and some, even their own unique name. Even our food can be considered unique, Rocky Mountain Oysters anyone?
Getting creative with a menu and the names for your creations at your restaurant can be a huge help in attracting customers. And after reading this unique menu selection from a small-town diner, I may just have to hit the road for a test of these items.

Set with the incredible background of the Rocky Mountain Front in 'lies the small town of Dupuyer. I've visited many times in the last few years as we have friends with land in the area for hunting. But it has been a couple of years since I have stopped into Buffalo Joe's for a bite to eat.

I think I will make an effort this year though, because I just came across the new menu they have, and the names alone on it have me wanting to go for a cruise. I mean really. Who could resist something like a Lemon Poppy Bullwhip Creme Pancake!
April Fool's Joke Turns into the Reall Deal in Dupuyer, Montana at Restaurant
According to a social media post from the business, the original idea for things like Gashouse Eggs - 406 Style and Coulee Sticks was simply an April Fool's joke. But now, those items have made it on the regular menu for folks to enjoy.
Want to hit the road and enjoy some Soaking the Saddle in the Coulee? Head up I-15 from Great Falls to Conrad and then use the connecting road to US 89. Or you can follow US 89 secondary road through Fairfield and Choteau to get there.
