PETA to Stage Protest at Popular Restaurant in Great Falls

If you happen to be downtown in Great Falls on Wednesday May 28, 2025, there will be some unfamiliar sounds near a very popular restaurant in the area.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) will be making a stop in the Electric City to protest pork being served at Smoked American BBQ and they plan on making a rather large ruckus with the "Hell on Wheels" truck.

PETA Hell on Wheels Truck a Hyper-realistic Pig Transport Truck

The Hell on Wheels truck will be in Great Falls is designed to "appeal to anyone who eats pigs to remember that the meat industry is cruel to them and that the only kind meal is a vegan one.”

The truck appears as a hyper-realistic pig transport truck that looks as if it contains real pigs on their way to slaughter.  PETA plans on parking and blaring "actual recorded sounds of the animals’ panicked screams along with a subliminal message every 10 seconds suggesting that people go vegan."
