Full disclosure: I haven't been to the movie theater in quite some time. Probably before the pandemic. And, probably, because I spend way too much time on a golf course.

But besides those points, I haven't really found movies to be that great as of late. The same thing over and over. A remake of this, a new imagining of that, another sequel to the last sequel.

So, when I read a recent friend's social post about not being able to watch a particular film in Great Falls, it had me thinking about why our theaters wouldn't be showing this movie.

The film in question is called "God's Not Dead: In God We Trust" released on September 12, 2024. Apparently, our local theater will not be bringing this movie to Great Falls. But why not?

A quick look at movies playing at the theater will show other films that in my mind probably aren't raking in huge dollars either. "Reagan" most likely isn't filling the seats night after night.
