
New Executive Director Announced for PGSM in Great Falls
- After an 8-month search the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art has a new executive director
- The museum has operated under an interim director since October 2024 when Sarah Justice stepped down from the position after 4 years
- The new director has an extensive background in the arts, finance, and development
New Executive Director Announced for PGSM in Great Falls
The Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art in Great Falls, Montana has finally found a new executive director.
In a press release from Operations Manager Sara Johnson, the board of directors have announced the appointment of Tracy Cosgrove as the museum’s new Executive Director.

"The Square" in Great Falls Has New Leadership with Years of Experience
In making the announcement, the PGSM stated that "Cosgrove brings more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, with an accomplished background in arts administration, philanthropy, finance, and social justice."

Cosgrove will take the reins of "The Square" beginning July 1, 2025, and said in accepting the position:
Paris Gibson Square Museum of Artis an exceptional cultural asset to the Great Falls community and the state of Montana, and its mission inspire and promote contemporary art is its great strength. I am both honored and privileged to join as its next Executive Director.

The Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art was first established in 1977 and is north-central Montana’s only contemporary art museum. You can learn more about the history of the building here.
The PGSM is located at 1400 1st Avenue North, Great Falls, Montana. Admission is FREE to the public, and donations are greatly appreciated. Visitor hours: Tuesday 10am to 9pm, Wednesday through Friday 10am to 5pm, and Saturday from 10pm to 3pm, Sunday and Monday: closed. Closed on select holidays.
