Across much of Montana, spring has sprung and green things are beginning to come forth in search of sun. Even my daffodils in my front yard have come to life and bloomed within just the last few days.
And while we enjoy those things growing, it appears that a heavy frost has come for some of our local businesses, with several closing within the past few weeks, including burgers and places for families to enjoy a meal. For pizza lovers, it appears that the official day has come, as the owners announced that the trailer had been sold and that the business had closed. The other blow is that it won't be staying around our area either. The new owners are based in the eastern part of the state.
New Owners Hope to Be Back in Area; Locals Express Their Love
The new owners are Wildfire Pizza, Co., located in Baker, Montana. In responses online, the company expressed their desire to return to Central Montana, stating "the trailer is staying in MT - just on the East end! With plans to pop up all over the Big Sky country!".
In the meantime, many local fans of the pizza are hoping the former owners will begin a new venture soon and return with favorite selections. The Stack slightly left that door open, saying "We are going to take some time for ourselves, visit friends, and write another chapter, should be a good one, but yet again ya never know."
