As the last few bits of fireworks fall and the smoke clears, we close the book on Fourth of July 2024. And while families and friends gathered in the name of independence this week, many of our favorite country artists did the same. For those who couldn't be with their loved ones, they celebrated with their fans as they put on dazzling shows on some of the biggest stages in the nation.

Willie Nelson Returns to the Stage to Celebrate America

After he canceled several shows due to health reasons, Willie Nelson fans were both relieved and thrilled to see him take the stage at his annual Fourth of July Picnic in Camden, N.J. The country veteran walked out on stage with his son Lukas by his side. The pair performed with each other in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

Lainey Wilson, The War & Treaty and Shaboozey Play in New York City

Macy's annual 4th of July Fireworks special was loaded with country talent. Lainey Wilson performed "Hang Tight Honey" and her newly released track "4x4xU" high above Hudson Yards on The Edge Observation Deck. The War & Treaty also took the elevated stage to sing "Stealing a Kiss," and Shaboozey offered up his Platinum hit "A Bar Song."

Elsewhere, Chris Young rocked Nashville as he headlined Let Freedom Sing! Music City. Chris Janson also performed at Fox & Friends' All-American Summer Concert Series.

Plenty of other artists kept things low key and spent some much-needed time at home with family. Carrie Underwood spent time in the garden, and Kane Brown's kids rocked matching patriotic outfits, while Jelly Roll bought what looked like an entire fireworks stand worth of explosives.
