Nobody In Montana Is Handing Out Edibles For Halloween
Are Marijuana Edibles The New "Razor Blades" On Halloween?
I strongly feel that this is the new Halloween Urban Legend, even though it's not officially an urban legend, I'm calling it. When I was a kid, it was all about fear mongering that there would be razor blades in all the candy.
Marijuana edibles are EXPENSIVE. I mean EXPENSIVE. It's absolutely ludicrous to think that ANYONE who uses cannabis edibles would hand them out on Halloween.
For example, for 10 gummy edibles (NO THEY ARE NOT SHAPED LIKE BEARS) it's usually between $15-$30. 10 edibles, not 10 packages of edibles, 10 edibles cost that much.

Why Do I Keep Seeing The Marijuana Candy Halloween Warnings?
I'll tell you why, in my opinion:
- Some people hate pot SO MUCH that while they're sitting around getting drunk on whiskey they write theses conspiracy theories on line. Since the facts about pot aren't scary, they can make up stories that they think are
- Some people are only happy causing pain, worry and other general malaise to other humans
- Nobody buys the razor blades in apples thing anymore (The conspiracy theory, that I blame for kids not going door-to-door anymore.). It didn't happen in the 70's-80's-90's, and it's not happening now
Has Anyone Ever Handed Out Cannabis Edibles For Halloween?
I read an article from Norris McLaughlin where they talk about a Canadian couple who mistakenly handed out edibles on Halloween a few years back. They got in A LOT of trouble.
An article on Salon says there was a father who killed his kid in the 1970's by putting cyanide in a pixie stick. He was dubbed "The Candy Man". That is murder, not handing out THC on Halloween. Also, let's be real. That's so the exception.
Another theory on this fear of candy from strangers goes back to the "satan-izing" of Halloween and the Tylenol poisonings of the 80's.
