Jeep Is Recalling Over 94 Thousand Vehicles

From New Jersey.Com:

Back in 2022 the NHTSA announced the recall of over 60 thousand Jeep Wrangler 4xes. The recall was due to a loss of engine power while driving.  Jeep offered software update to resolve the issue.

Complaints About The Jeep Wrangler Kept Coming

It was soon discovered that Jeep Wranglers outside the original recall window were also having the same issue.

Now there are over 94 thousand Jeep Wranglers being recalled.  This time, the window is from 2021-2024, and it INCLUDES the Jeeps in the original recall in 2022.

The NHTSA has had reports from Jeep owners that vehicles outside the original 2022 window are having the same problem, as well as vehicles that received the fix from Jeep during the 2022 recall.

The NHTSA Has Opened A Recall Query

According to ABC News, the recall query is being opened to "to assess the severity of the alleged defect" as well as gauging the effectiveness of the 'fix" offered by Jeep with their software update.
