Why Is BrucePac Doing This Huge Recall?
According to CNet, it's due to a possible Listeria Outbreak. Listeria is a bacteria that can cause listeriosis. Listeriosis is especially dangerous to pregnant women or other high-risk demographics.
Symptoms of Listeriosis include fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, confusion and gastrointestinal distress and can lead to death in high risk populations.
