I'm sure you've heard about the nationwide E. coli outbreak at many McDonald's locations by now.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, at least 49 people across 10 states have become ill from eating burgers at major fast food chains.
That includes one person from Montana, according to the CDC.
Many reports indicate that the outbreak is linked to the specific sliced onions used on McDonald's quarter-pounder hamburgers.
This outbreak should, in theory, only impact quarter-pounder hamburgers at McDonald's, not their entire menu.
Well, friends, there is good news about many Montana McDonald's locations regarding the E. coli outbreak.

I have confirmed that the McDonald's locations in Great Falls and Havre, Montana, ARE NOT impacted by the E. coli outbreak.
As mentioned above, the E. coli outbreak is believed to be linked to the sliced onions used in the restaurant's quarter-pounder hamburgers.
The Great Falls and Havre Montana McDonald's locations utilize a different supplier for their onions than the impacted stores.
That said, eating quarter-pounder hamburgers from McDonald's in Great Falls and Havre is totally safe.
Obviously, please do your research when it comes to all other Montana McDonald's locations.
