
Montana Buyers BEWARE: There’s A Massive Recall On Corn Dogs
Look, we get it: everyone makes mistakes. It happens and it's not uncommon for mistakes to occur on the job... but even we have to admit, there have been a lot of recalls lately.
The latest recall has to do with a food item that's popular with the kids and is affecting large quantities too.
The Hillshire Brands Company Is Recalling A TON Of Corn Dogs
I've got three little ones and let me tell you, they love their corn dogs. They're easy, they're tasty, and darn it, they're about as American as it gets when it comes to food.

Unfortunately, The Hillshire Brands Company is recalling a massive amount of corn dogs and "sausage on a stick" products that were sold throughout the country. How much?
Over 58 million pounds!!
"The Hillshire Brands Company, a Haltom City, Tex. establishment, is recalling approximately 58,000,000 pounds of corn dog and sausage on a stick products that may be contaminated with extraneous material, specifically pieces of wood embedded in the batter," the Food Safety and Inspection Service said in the recall announcement.
Has Anyone Been Hurt By The Corn Dog Recall?
Unfortunately, there have been some injuries reported in the recall.

According to the Food Safety and Inspection Service, the problem was discovered "after the establishment received multiple consumer complaints, five of which involved injuries."

FSIS also says there are some concerns that affected corn dogs could already be in our fridges and even the fridges of schools. You're looking for have the number "EST-582" or "P-894", and were packaged between March 17th and September 26th of this year.
