The Pandemic Changed A Lot In Montana

The pandemic brought many things to Montana like being able to get alcohol delivered to your door but it also took away a lot like being able to go to the movie theater.

My husband and I met right before the pandemic started so we didn't get a chance to do normal date things like going to movies or restaurants and we are so glad those are now available again for date night.

One More Thing The Pandemic Took Away

One thing that the pandemic really affected was the ability to have a potluck. Everyone bringing their own dishes from home for everyone to share is finally making its way back into our lives but should it be?

I head a conversation the other day where people were discussing how gross potlucks are and can be. Not everyone has the same kitchen hygiene as a restaurant kitchen for example. With the risk of people getting sick, potlucks went by the way side for a while but they seem to really be popping back up.

Are Potluck's Making A Comeback In Montana?

Before coming to work at the radio station I was at an office that LOVED to do potluck's and celebrate every little event they could - Administrative professionals day, bosses day, you get it-and everyone would bring something different to share with the rest.

I want to know if they are socially acceptable again. I am looking at hosting a party and trying to decide if we should just provide food-which can be expensive-or ask people to bring a dish. The germaphobe in me says I should just cook it all.
