Car Seat Safety Is Important In Montana
Car seats can be a pain when installing and sometimes steps can be missed if instructions aren't clear.
Especially with a brand new baby sometimes you are in a rush to install the car seat so you can leave the hospital - which is required before you can leave - and maybe it never seemed to fit quite right.

The Great Falls Fire Rescue is teaming up with Benefis and the Cascade City-County Health Department to provide many services for the community, the largest being car seat inspections to make sure your kids seat is installed correctly and safely.
How Do We Know Car Seats Are Safe?
Seats will be inspected by "trained child passenger safety technicians." They will also provide information about what kind of car seat your child should be in for their age which is important information.
When Is The Car Seat Check In Great Falls?
The free event will take place on Saturday September 14th at Fire Station 1 which is located at 105 9th Street South starting at 1 pm.

The volunteers this day will also be providing information about how to find reduced-cost car seats if you need one and they will even be giving away free bike helmets to the public.
