WinCo Grocery Store Confirmed For Great Falls

It had been rumored for years, but yesterday we finally got confirmation straight from the mayor.

WinCo will officially be moving into the old Shopko shopping center on the west side of Great Falls.

Mayor Corey Reeves Announces More New Businesses

A lot of people are going to be excited about this.

When we’ve asked readers in the past what grocery stores they would like to see open in town, WinCo has always been one of the most requested.

But that was not the only announcement Mayor Corey Reeves made on Facebook yesterday.

Chick-fil-A Also Coming To Great Falls

That's right, Great Falls will also be getting a Chick-fil-A in the near future.

It feels like the restaurant scene around town has really been picking up lately. We’ve seen several new places open their doors, including both national chains and locally owned spots like Xóchitl, which opened back in January.

It is always nice to see new options pop up, especially when they give people a few more choices for groceries or a quick bite to eat.

Even with these new openings, many restaurants and chains are still missing from Montana.

But if these new businesses do well here in Great Falls, it could open the door for the companies in the gallery below to consider setting up shop in the Electric City.
