That's why the website Food & Wine set out to find each state's best farm-to-table restaurant.
Their choice for Montana sees the chef utilize his own families ranch to make some amazing creations.

Local Kitchen & Bar Is The Best Farm-to-Table Restaurant In Montana
When it comes to locally sourced, the Local Kitchen & Bar in Billings really means it.
Everything down to the wood used in the kitchen’s wood-fired oven is sourced from head chef and co-owner Travis Stimpson's family homestead.
It goes beyond just the food they serve though, as even the art on the walls is from Terakedis Gallery, a local art gallery in Billings.
They also support local charities, provide cooking classes, and host fundraisers, all to help out the Billings community at large.
