Montana Drinks How Much Beer A Year?
That 41 gallons is per resident in Montana, which means if you don't drink beer, someone out there is drinking your share.
With so many beer drinkers drinking so much beer each year, it makes sense that we'd have some top-tier brewmasters living in the Treasure State.
Well, on May 1st, the World Beer Cup announced their 2025 winners, and we found out that Montana officially is home to one of the best beers in the world.
One Montana Brewery Just Beat the World
Only one Montana brewery brought home a medal this year, unlike years past, which saw multiple winners.
The brewery that showed that their beer was a "fine example of the style" and took home the bronze medal was Sacred Waters Brewing Co., located in Kalispell, with their brew "Snow Dust."
Here is how Sacred Waters describes their winning beer.
This rice lager was brewed with Jasmine rice & local Flathead Hallertau Mittelfruh hops. Light and delicate flavors, combined with low bitterness, make this crystal clear beer super drinkable and a must taste!
While this beer is now regarded as one of the best in the world, it still has a long way to go before it can be compared to some of the most iconic beers in Montana.👇
