Why Montana Makes A Good Place To Hide

Montana is a massive state with plenty of places to "disappear." That could mean just moving to a new small town or even heading out to the woods and going off-grid.

Think about how long Ted Kaczynski, also known as the Unabomber, was able to remain undetected in the woods outside of Lincoln.

It's not out the realm of possibility that a wanted criminal in Idaho quickly crosses the border, becoming a fugitive in Montana.

Who Are Montana's Most Wanted?

It's not just criminals from Idaho you should be on the lookout for, as Montana has their own most wanted.

Currently there are only two men on the U.S. Marshals most wanted list for Montana; they are David Earl Burgert, Jr., and Jesse Allen Pearson.

A word of caution: please do not try to apprehend these criminals on your own, as they are considered to be armed and dangerous.

If you do spot any of these criminals, immediately call the local authorities and let the professionals handle it.
