Cascade County Detention Officer Arrested Again

For the second time in less than a month, a Cascade County Detention Officer has been arrested and charged in Great Falls.

Police were called after an altercation in which witnesses saw a man assaulting a woman.

Police Called After Witness Reported Assault

On August 31st the witness called the police after seeing a man strike a woman as she was screaming for help and honking her car horn.

Once found, the woman told police that she was hit in the face, had an attempt to break her arm, and then had her phone taken away and tossed in an attempt to prevent her from calling the police.

Yellow Owl was then arrested and charged with partner/family member assault causing bodily injury and tampering with a communication device.

The Cascade County Detention Center officer was also placed on administrative leave.

Last month on August 18th, Lloyd Ogden Jr., another Cascade County Detention Center officer, was arrested after a domestic disturbance.

Sheriff Slaughter’s Response To The Arrests

Sheriff Slaughter said at the time of that arrest, "These allegations are shocking and completely unacceptable. Domestic violence has no place in our community, and anyone who engages in it will be held fully accountable."
