Regardless of which side of the political spectrum you stand, or where your moral compass points, most of us should be able to agree that voting is important.  And it shouldn't mean more or less during any voting cycle.

Besides being our civic duty, it is also a right that many in the world are not afforded.  Every single person should be out exercising that right.  Besides, it means we earned the right to complain about all those things, right?

Long Lines at Courthouse Annex, But Don't Fear Great Falls

After leaving work, I headed downtown in Great Falls to the Courthouse Annex on 2nd Avenue North to drop off my ballot at the box.  Once I was able to find a spot, I was surprised coming around the corner by the line that had formed:

After a few minutes, I finally asked if the person in front of me was simply dropping off their ballot or were trying to register.  Once realizing that I could jump to the front to drop my ballot, I grabbed my "I Voted" sticker and was back to my car.

How To Still Register and Vote in Great Falls on November 5th, 2024

If you still need to register to vote in Great Falls for the election, you won't be able to do it downtown on Election Day.  Instead, registration is available at Exhibition Hall at Expo Park until 8 PM.
