Great Falls Symphony Has Immediate Need for Violinist
Despite not having a show on the calendar until October of 2024, the Great Falls Symphony is remaining active through the summer. Fall and winter concerts have recently been announced, and ticket sales are in full swing.
The symphony is also in search of a new member to fill an important role for not only them, but also with the Cascade Quartet.
1-year Interim Co-Concertmaster and Member of the Cascade Quartet
The immediate position involves being the co-concertmaster with the Great Falls Symphony and also a violinist with the Cascade Quartet on a 1-year, interim basis. It is a salaried position, paying $22,250 - $32,050+ and the search is being conducted nationwide.

According to the online application description, "The ideal candidate embodies the Great Falls Symphony’s mission to make Great Falls a better place through music. They must be a positive force for good both onstage and off, and they must be fully committed to serving the community through their work as a musician, a teacher, and a leader within the organization."
Applications Open Now, With Preliminary Round Set for July in Great Falls
The symphony is accepting applications until July 24th, 2024. Interested individuals can email cover letter, resume and 3 references for consideration in the preliminary video round, set for July 26-28, 2024.
A possible virtual final round would be held August 8-9, 2024. Candidates may be called for a virtual final round which may include playing any excerpts from a supplied list, an interview and educational instrument demo, or any variation of these options.
