Silver Thorn Open: Great Falls Hosts Exciting Disc Golf Event
Disc Golf Really Is a Thing in Montana and Great Falls
Across the world, a somewhat newer sport has come to light in the last few years, even making its way to Montana. Disc golf is played much like regular golf, minus the clubs and balls. Those are replaced by an arm and frisbee.
It's estimated that 8-12 million people have played the sport, with another half a million people playing on a regular basis. Great Falls has jumped on board, featuring a complete course available to everyone.

Now, one of those events is coming to the Electric City for enthusiasts to test their mettle and throwing ability at. This sanctioned event is set for Great Falls on April 27th and 28th at new Silver Thorn Disc Golf Course.
