GFHS Offers Unique Opportunities for Youth in School

Without trying to malign my old alma mater, the opportunities for youth in school in Great Falls is amazing.  And also makes me a little jealous of my high school days.

Growing up in a small, rural community doesn't afford the same things that a larger town and school can.  Which in turn bewilders me when kids say that they can't find something to occupy their time.

Opportunity Abounds for Students at Great Falls High School to Explore

Great Falls High School offers a wide and almost eclectic variety of extracurricular programs that students can participate in.  Sure, there are the main staples that have been around for a long time:

• Art
• Drama
• Foreign Language

But as times have changed, so does the curriculum and interests of children and young adults.  To placate the changing of times, GFHS offers 30 different clubs that students can tryout and then choose to participate in.

With a Wide Variety, GFHS Hopes Students Take Notice and Have Fun

With so many different clubs available, GFHS hopes that not only are they providing a student with the opportunity to pursue his/her interests, but the clubs are also valuable as a chance for self-expression and association with one's fellow students.
