Former Pro Player Hosting New Camp in Great Falls
When it comes to stars in Big Sky Country, they are definitely plentiful. Whether it be in under the carpet of night, or the people that reside inside the borders of Montana.
In Great Falls, it amazes me just how many stars have come from the Electric City. And in so many different activities. Football, wrestling, skating, boxing, shooting, basketball and more.
Former High School, College and Professional Player Hosting Camps in Great Falls
One of those stars from our city will be hosting an all-new basketball camp in Great Falls in 2025. The Josh Huestis Foundation has announced the new camp will be a first annual for Indigenous K-6th grade youth in Great Falls Public Schools.

Huestis was a former standout basketball player for C.M. Russell in Great Falls and continued a stellar college career at Stanford University. Huestis then played professionally for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA.
New Camp Needs a New Name in Great Falls for 2025
Huestis already is host to the Montana Elite Invitational ID Camps and the Invitational Tournament. The new camp is also part of the Josh Huestis Foundation, helping to promote their mission of positively impacting the lives of the youth in Montana.

As part of the new camp, they are in search of a name for it. Students are being asked to submit suggestions until December 10th, 2024. Students can submit them to their classroom teacher or to their culture class teacher. The winning student will have their camp's name and logo featured on shirts, plus enjoy lunch with Josh at the event.
