GFPD Announce Registration on Now for Citizen’s Academy
In my opinion, when looking at social media Great Falls gets hit pretty hard when it comes to how bad our crime may be. Now, don't get me wrong. Great Falls has a problem. But doesn't every single city in Montana; or the country for that matter?
Citizens in Great Falls have a unique opportunity to experience just what our law enforcement in the city face, day in and day out. But you need to sign up for the academy soon, because spots fill quickly to hit the road with an officer.

How to Sign Up for the Academy and What You'll Experience During It
If you aren't familiar with the GFPD's Citizen's Academy, as a participant you will experience:
how investigations unfold, learn about police procedure, learn about use of force, and get hands on experience in multiple areas. Participants get to spend a shift on the street with a patrol officer, learning about the city and the daily calls that officers respond to.
To sign up for the academy, you must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of Great Falls or the surrounding area. GFPD will conduct background checks on all participants; participant approval will be at the discretion of the Academy facilitator and the police administration. To learn more, visit here.
